2026 Korea Science Festival with Jeonbuk Science Festival Opens October 16
The 2026 Korea Science Festival with Jeonbuk Science Festival will be held from October 16 to 18 at the main sports field and Harim Mission Hall of Jeonju University. Under the theme of 'physical AI,' more than 80 institutions, universities and companies, along with elementary, middle and high schools in the province, will run hands-on booths.
Sunchang Jangnyu Festival opens October 15
The 21st Sunchang Jangnyu Festival will be held from October 15 to 18 around Sunchang Traditional Gochujang Folk Village and Sunchang Fermentation Theme Park. Under the theme 'The World's Taste, Captured in Sunchang,' it features gochujang-making, a re-enactment of a royal tribute procession and K-food experiences.
