The '2026 Korea Maritime Mobility and Safety Expo' will be held in Busan for 3 days, from October 26 to 28. During the expo, side programs that let visitors experience maritime safety firsthand will also run around Bukhang Chinsu Park (North Port Waterfront Park) at Busan Port.

The side programs are built around hands-on activities so that residents and tourists can learn maritime safety through direct experience. Visitors can look around exhibits on future ships and autonomous navigation technology, eco-friendly maritime technology, and maritime safety and AI technology, and then take part in related activities.

In the main program, a ship-handling simulation, visitors pilot a ship themselves in a virtual environment. At the maritime VR experience hall, they can go through emergencies such as falling overboard or a passenger ship emergency in virtual reality. In the lifesaving equipment safety training, they learn the correct use of real equipment such as life jackets and life rafts, and they also learn safety rules through a maritime safety quiz.

Lighter activities are also planned. A maritime photo zone will let visitors take their own personalized photos using AI technology, and at a life jacket OOTD runway, participants decorate and try on life jackets. Visitors can also learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and try on coast guard uniforms. A stamp tour linking content at the BPEX exhibition hall and Bukhang Chinsu Park will also be held, and those who complete it will receive a souvenir.

The programs run daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and are open to all ages. Inquiries can be made at 070-4365-7047.
